History and Fragility of Life
Today is a great day in American History. Today Barack Obama became the 44th President of the United States of America. He has reached this great office, the first African American to do so. As I sat watching the proceedings, (somehow, an alarm on our Atomic Clock in the Kitchen, started ringing at the evil time of 6 am. mountain time.) After I had decided to stay up, I went in and started my marathon Inaugural television media coverage watching. If you can't be there....participate any way you can. It doesn't matter who you voted for. I believe that today is the kind of event, where we are all equal, and can come together. It is also important for me, that I must mention, that President Obama and I are from the same generation. I'm getting older, and the President, at least this one, is younger. I watched as Senator Kennedy entered the seating area for the swearing in. I thought he looked very well, and even distinquished. It must have been the hat. I was sadden...
