You know, I really enjoyed a 'quiet' birthday yesterday. I actually sat back and contemplated all that I've done in my life. I'vd accomplished many things, although others have been less successful. today, December 8, 2008, as I sit here on my computer since I don't have to work today until 1:00pm I need to say that I am so thankful for what I have. Many have far less. I now realize that I was sent to live in Provo for a reason. It's not a earth shattering amazing life changing event, but it's something that I can be successful at, and help someone else. I will share it at another time. It has started to snow today. 'bout time! Since it's snowing, I think I should call in sick. I'M KIDDING! Although I really want to. Don't let your jaw drop in shock, but I went to the Rec Center this morning, and rode the bike 7 miles. It's not too bad...but I know I will be sore later on. Barack Obama is the President-Elect. I think this is going to change the way the world thinks, moves, interacts....Hopefully for the better. My question is....What kind of puppy do the girls get???? Work stinks, the temperature stinks...(I changed my mind...I love sweating like a pig.) My health issues are rearing their ugly head. I feel lousy, look lousy, and weigh like a hippo! Starting my diet Monday...I DO have to have one last fling..... NO MORE JELLY BELLY'S! no more ice cream...no more Coke!??!?? well maybe not that.......Wish me luck!

For those of you who have been around me in the recent past, you know who Lulu is. For the rest of you, fasten your seat belts. I tell my story, and how Lulu came about, in hopes that I can learn something as well as helping others along the way. During the Spring of 2005, I began to have some real annoying things happen to my body.....Felt terrible....rapid weight gain, bloated like the goodyear blimp. After undergoing some torture like tests, I was finally diagnosed with Hepatitis C. BOOM! (did you just see the floor hit rock bottom?) To confirm this diagnosis, I had to undergo a Liver Biopsy....Heard it was brutal. It wasn't too bad, until I heard the Dr. say..."Crap, I didn't get Liver tissue, you are going to have to have another one." WAIT! You missed my LIVER!? How could they miss my liver! (yes, he did...But he got Skeletal muscle! Needless to say, I got a different doctor! Long story short...I have just finished 1 year of absolutely "happy ...
