It's about time lazy Lulu!

You know, I really enjoyed a 'quiet' birthday yesterday. I actually sat back and contemplated all that I've done in my life. I'vd accomplished many things, although others have been less successful.
today, December 8, 2008, as I sit here on my computer since I don't have to work today until 1:00pm I need to say that I am so thankful for what I have. Many have far less. I now realize that I was sent to live in Provo for a reason. It's not a earth shattering amazing life changing event, but it's something that I can be successful at, and help someone else. I will share it at another time.

It has started to snow today. 'bout time! Since it's snowing, I think I should call in sick. I'M KIDDING! Although I really want to.

Don't let your jaw drop in shock, but I went to the Rec Center this morning, and rode the bike 7 miles. It's not too bad...but I know I will be sore later on. This is a big step in the right direction for me. We will se if I can do it again tomorrow.

Off to eat, before I head out..

Lulu is off and running.

For those of you who have been around me in the recent past, you know who Lulu is. For the rest of you, fasten your seat belts. I tell my story, and how Lulu came about, in hopes that I can learn something as well as helping others along the way. Gratitude

As I sit and ponder the events of the past few weeks, I feel such gratitude for what I have, and for those who are a part of my life. I have been finished with Interferon therapy for almost one year, and at last blood work check, my viral load is still undetectable. I have my up days and my down days, so I just try and plug along the best that I can. It can be frustruating, that I still have flare ups. I am trying to get more sleep, and that is always a good goal to reach for. I need to listen to my body better, and rest when it 'tells me to.' My family continues to be supportive, even though they sometimes don't understand why I feel the way I do. I have finally begun to exercise, a little bit at a time, a few times a week, and I hope to be able to increase that as I get stronger. Now if I could just start losing excess weight that my liver does not need, life would really be cool! I'm working on it... I have good friends. Many of them I have 'reconnected ...

Lulu and Schellie's biggest loser

Starting my diet here in 6 minutes...Midnight...it will be Nov. 10, 2008. I need to lose the weight, and be healthier because of my damaged liver and immune system. I ate a few final belly jelly's an hour ago. I miss them already.. I'm also cutting out soda pop, although not entirely..Are you kidding?? losing my two vices in one day! Give me a break! My laptop seems to be functioning again. Although it still is not fast like it should be. I need to drink a little more water and get in bed. This is going to be a rough week. I need to lose at least 20 lbs. if not more. I choose not to tell you how much I weigh, but it's an awful lot! I need to throw in some exercise....Oh help! PRAY FOR ME PEOPLE! I'm doing this with Michelle Smith...a little harder to do now that we don't live across from each other. more like 70 miles away. Oh well. I'm determined. That's all for now. Nite!
