Lulu's Adventure's

You know, I really enjoyed a 'quiet' birthday yesterday. I actually sat back and contemplated all that I've done in my life. I'vd accomplished many things, although others have been less successful. today, December 8, 2008, as I sit here on my computer since I don't have to work today until 1:00pm I need to say that I am so thankful for what I have. Many have far less. I now realize that I was sent to live in Provo for a reason. It's not a earth shattering amazing life changing event, but it's something that I can be successful at, and help someone else. I will share it at another time. It has started to snow today. 'bout time! Since it's snowing, I think I should call in sick. I'M KIDDING! Although I really want to. Don't let your jaw drop in shock, but I went to the Rec Center this morning, and rode the bike 7 miles. It's not too bad...but I know I will be sore later on. Starting my diet here in 6 minutes...Midnight...it will be Nov. 10, 2008. I need to lose the weight, and be healthier because of my damaged liver and immune system. I ate a few final belly jelly's an hour ago. I miss them already.. I'm also cutting out soda pop, although not entirely..Are you kidding?? losing my two vices in one day! Give me a break! My laptop seems to be functioning again. Although it still is not fast like it should be. I need to drink a little more water and get in bed. This is going to be a rough week. I need to lose at least 20 lbs. if not more. I choose not to tell you how much I weigh, but it's an awful lot! I need to throw in some exercise....Oh help! PRAY FOR ME PEOPLE! I'm doing this with Michelle Smith...a little harder to do now that we don't live across from each other. more like 70 miles away. Oh well. I'm determined. That's all for now. Nite!

Barack Obama is the President-Elect. I think this is going to change the way the world thinks, moves, interacts....Hopefully for the better. My question is....What kind of puppy do the girls get???? Work stinks, the temperature stinks...(I changed my mind...I love sweating like a pig.) My health issues are rearing their ugly head. I feel lousy, look lousy, and weigh like a hippo! Starting my diet Monday...I DO have to have one last fling..... NO MORE JELLY BELLY'S! no more ice cream...no more Coke!??!?? well maybe not that.......Wish me luck!

Today was payday..WAHOO! I also realized, that a bill I thought I was going to be charged a late fee on....I ALREADY paid it!! Yippieeeeee! Now, about that computer I was going to buy....I think I might just be able to afford it now. Barely, but I can. I can pay off a few more medical bills now. Yippiee Skippie! The Nation is knee deep in debt. But, I got paid!! I guess I better check my IRA account. Make sure I'm not bankrupt yet..... So far, this has been a good day! Wait...maybe not!...Neighbor kid on his skateboard, attempting to play his trumpet. It drives Lulu up the wall!

(wait, isn't that what is happening with my IRA?) I didn't want any money for retirement anyway. Just when life starts to mesh into calm cruise control, I seem to get dealt yet another blow. I think that having this dental work could be a blessing in disguise..I need something to stop me in my tracks, and help me control my annoying eating habits of late. I'm always hungry! Remember when I was trying to gain weight?!!? The Broncos lost today, it was bound to happen sooner or later. At least the first loss didn't come at Invesco Field. The Bears won. That turned out to be a slightly entertaining game. The Amazing Race 13 has begun. I redorded it, but haven't watched it yet. Maybe tomorrow, if I cut out of work early. Time for more painkillers. Football. Well, Denver lost. they had to eventually right? Well, they ARE still #1 in the AFC West. I love Football! but you already knew that, didn't you? I can't believe I root for the Cowboys. (It's Lulu's faul...) Lulu gets blamed for everything. But you knew that too! More later gang !

For those of you who have been around me in the recent past, you know who Lulu is. For the rest of you, fasten your seat belts. I tell my story, and how Lulu came about, in hopes that I can learn something as well as helping others along the way. During the Spring of 2005, I began to have some real annoying things happen to my body.....Felt terrible....rapid weight gain, bloated like the goodyear blimp. After undergoing some torture like tests, I was finally diagnosed with Hepatitis C. BOOM! (did you just see the floor hit rock bottom?) To confirm this diagnosis, I had to undergo a Liver Biopsy....Heard it was brutal. It wasn't too bad, until I heard the Dr. say..."Crap, I didn't get Liver tissue, you are going to have to have another one." WAIT! You missed my LIVER!? How could they miss my liver! (yes, he did...But he got Skeletal muscle! Needless to say, I got a different doctor! Long story short...I have just finished 1 year of absolutely "happy ...
